Learning Through Leadership

Monthly Archives: April 2015

We had a great day today! We started the day with PARRC testing and all of the kids worked really really hard! I was very proud of them and know they will do just as well tomorrow!

After that we had a visit from our 4H representative to check on our baby chicks. She candled each egg so that we could see if they were developing into chicks. Out of our 12 eggs we could see that 10 of them were on their way to hatching! We know that they won’t all hatch, but we are hoping for about half!  As we looked at the eggs we could actually see the chick moving inside! It was amazing!

We ended the day with our ABC countdown celebration. Today was D and we had a dance party! It was a great way to wrap up the day!

We had a great morning when our Special Visitors came into our classroom! The students shared poetry they have been writing and everyone worked together to create some great art work! The students loved sharing their class time with their someone special!
