We had a great Friday learning about how to stay healthy and learning that we can to to help others in an emergency. We started our morning with every fourth grader getting certified in hands only CPR. Each student worked with the CPR dummy for two minutes. The students then learned how to use an AED, and learned where the two AED’s at Heritage are located.

In the afternoon we spent time in four sessions learning about Eye Health, Digital Dangers and how to stay safe when using social media, learning about all of the exciting things going on at PHSC and PHSN in the fields of biomedical science, and even put on the gloves to box with Title Boxing. It was a great day and the kids had a great time! Thanks to RealEyes, The Digital Danger Program, Andy Harris from PHSC/PHSN and Seth from Title Boxing for volunteering your time!
