We have been busy this week during Right to Read week! Yesterday we helped take care of our school by cleaning up litter around the grounds. The students synergized to pick up trash they found on our playground and in our field. They got to do a good deed and our school grounds look great, what a Win-Win!

Today we used the Recycled items that the students brought in to make new creations! The students worked together to make many different creations, and were very creative! They also wrote paragraphs describing their creations which are on display in the fourth grade hallway.

The last thing we did for our Right to Read week was to have a read in. The kids (and teachers!) grabbed a book, chose a “comfy” spot to read in and we read silently for about 30 minutes. It was a great way to end the week and to Sharpen our Saws!
